Considered not only a prestigious but also one of the toughest profession, architects have important responsibilities in the realization of every project. Besides producing outstanding design, architects also have to work hard within the confines of the developer’s requirement – one of them is budget.
Normally for site with limited footprints, car parks are located in the basements but for the case of MonteBleu, carparks were raised from first to fifth storey to avoid the high costs of basement construction. Even though the carparks are above the ground, its perimeter is artfully ornamented with metal screens of random sizes and spacing to hide its structural and mechanical elements.
MonteBleu stands elegantly in Minbu Road up to thirty-four (34) storeys high with its environmental deck, where most of the amenities are located such as pools, gym and playground, are on the sixth storey. There is a triple volume sky garden on the fourteenth to sixteenth storey that houses additional recreational facilities exclusive to the residents.
